Honest beverages for a better planet.
It all started in June 2018.
We started JuneShine because we were fed up with drinks made with mystery ingredients. Back in 2018, we set our sights the alcohol space as it was littered with sub-par options. Questionable ingredients and questionable practices seemed to be the norm no matter where you looked...
Honest, transparent & sustainable.
So we set out to create an alcohol we felt better about drinking—something delicious, but also honest, transparent and sustainable. We fell in love with hard kombucha and all its uniquely refreshing, fruit-forward, fermented feels. And so, JuneShine was born. We began brewing hard kombucha in our garage, making it our mission to inspire people to seek out better-for-you options—to actually know what’s inside their beverages of choice—and still have fun doing it.
Fast forward to present day and JuneShine has built the #1 Hard Kombucha brand in the country with nationwide distribution.
As we’ve grown, we’ve taken tangible steps to make our business not just better, but also more sustainable: measuring, reducing, and compensating for our carbon footprint with Change Climate. Our brewery runs on renewable energy, diverts all brewery organic waste from the landfill, and recycles any and all materials we can. Since inception, JuneShine has donated 1% of sales annually to environmental nonprofits through 1% For the Planet—walking the talk of “Honest Alcohol for a Better Planet”.
